Vertical Pugmill for Clay Studios

The CH7147 Vertical Pugmill is a high-output clay pug mill for pottery studios, ceramic workshops and education clay rooms that frequently recycle larger quantities of clay. Its vertical design helps reduce the machine footprint while still offering strong performance for clay pugging, mixing and extrusion work.

Built from heavy section cast aluminium castings, this vertical pottery pugmill uses individually mounted auger blades that can be altered to suit different clay bodies and extrusion applications. The auger is mounted through two taper thrust bearings and driven via a flexible coupling from an inline helical geared motor, making it a robust choice for demanding studio and workshop use.
