Lotus Wheel Head for Red Millacron Pottery Wheels
This 330mm Lotus Wheel Head is threaded to fit Red Millacron wheels manufactured before 1990, as well as many other UK-made potters wheels. Supplied with one batt, it is a useful replacement wheel head system for potters who want to remove freshly thrown pots on their batts with less handling.
The Lotus wheelhead system is a practical alternative to a standard pottery wheel head, especially for production throwing, larger pots and thinly thrown pieces that may be damaged if lifted too soon. The 9mm waterproof plywood disc sits inside the smooth aluminium rim, with a notch that holds it securely in place during throwing.
