Discontinued Merlin Wanderer Potters Wheel
The Merlin Wanderer Potters Wheel is a discontinued Potters Mate wheel that is no longer in manufacture and is no longer available to buy as a new wheel. Some spare parts may still be available, so this page is useful for potters, schools and ceramic studios looking for Merlin Wanderer spares, Potters Mate wheel parts or compatible Lotus wheel head accessories.
The Merlin Wanderer was designed as a more sophisticated version of the Minerva, with a larger wheelhead, bigger bearings, a larger wheel tray and cable foot control fitted as standard. The flexible cable pedal allowed the operator to position the control on either side of the wheel for a more comfortable throwing setup.
