Cast Iron Pottery Whirler for Banding and Decorating
This cast iron pottery whirler is a compact tabletop banding wheel for ceramic studios, decorating benches, classrooms and hobby pottery work. With a 220mm diameter surface and a stable 3.45kg cast iron construction, it is ideal for controlled decorating, banding, modelling, re-centring and finishing smaller ceramic pieces.
The powder coated cast iron body gives the whirler a solid, durable feel, while the heavier weight helps create smoother, more stable manual rotation. Concentric guide circles on the surface make it easier to re-centre work in progress, helping when painting bands, decorating circular ware, refining plates and bowls, or working evenly around hand-built pottery.
