  Description

Glossy Depth with a Semi-Transparent Finish

Dark Brown BOTZ Earthenware Glaze creates a deep brown colour with a glossy, semi-transparent surface. The underlying clay can influence the finished shade, with red and black clay producing a noticeably darker result.

Choose this glaze when you want a semi-transparent brown rather than a fully opaque colour, allowing the character of the clay beneath to remain part of the finished appearance. It is consistent between 1020°C and 1060°C and can be fired at temperatures up to 1100°C.
