Warm Honey Colour That Responds to the Clay Beneath
Cognac BOTZ Earthenware Glaze brings a warm honey colour to ceramic surfaces with a glossy, semi-transparent finish. Because the glaze is not fully opaque, the underlying clay can influence the finished appearance, with red and black clay producing a darker result.
Choose Cognac when you want the clay body and surface detail to remain part of the finished look rather than being hidden beneath a solid colour. Its firing results are consistent from 1020°C to 1060°C, and the glaze can be fired at temperatures up to 1100°C.
