A Glaze That Changes with Application and Clay
Aventurine BOTZ Earthenware Glaze fires to a reddish-brown colour with glitter effects and a glossy surface. It is noted as particularly interesting on dark clay, while uneven application can create livelier variation across the finished surface.
Apply two to three times while allowing for its strong tendency to run. The glaze also has a tendency to crack, so both behaviours are worth keeping in mind when working with it. Its consistent firing range is 1020°C to 1060°C.
