The Skutt KMT818 is an eight-sided top loading electric kiln fitted with a WiFi touchscreen controller, perfect for smaller studios, schools and compact workspaces. It offers all the performance of larger Skutt kilns in a reduced footprint, with precise temperature control and reliable results for earthenware, stoneware and porcelain.
The intuitive touchscreen interface makes programming firings simple, while WiFi connectivity lets you monitor progress and review firing data with ease. Compact external dimensions make the KMT818 easy to site, without compromising on chamber space.

Power for this model is similar to that of a dedicated 29 amp cooker circuit. We recommend at least 18" clearance around the kiln.

Electrical note: Most of our top loading kiln models need to be wired directly into the electricity supply. The only exceptions are the
13 amp versions of the KM714 and KMT714, and our Skutt FireBox 8x4 and FireBox 8x6 tabletop kilns, which are supplied as plug-in models.
