Industrial Head Thermocouple- TC100/75/BT/72/R250 (Type R)

Various sizes available — please select your required thermocouple from the drop-down box. If unsure, contact our kiln technical team (details below).

Our Industrial Head Thermocouples are built for precision, durability and long-term reliability in a wide range of electric kiln and furnace models. Designed with a robust ceramic protection tube and industrial-style head assembly, these sensors provide accurate temperature feedback throughout the firing cycle — essential for maintaining consistency, repeatability and controlled heat distribution.

Designed for heavy-duty use, the industrial head housing protects the thermocouple connections and ensures a secure, stable fit. Whether you’re replacing an existing unit or upgrading your kiln’s sensing system, these thermocouples deliver professional-level performance and dependable results.

Thermocouples should always be installed so the tip protrudes at least 1 inch into the kiln chamber. This ensures readings are taken from the correct point inside the kiln and helps avoid temperature inaccuracies or controller errors.

If you are replacing an existing thermocouple, always check for signs of wear, corrosion, breakage or deterioration. Damaged or incorrectly positioned sensors can cause uneven firings, incorrect temperature readings or program failures.
