Earthy Neutral Powdered Glaze for Stoneware Surfaces
Tortilla Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze gives the supplied fired sample a muted earth-toned surface, blending soft brown and olive-beige colour with warmer brown definition around the raised leaf decoration. The restrained palette can work particularly well where carved or relief detail is intended to remain visible without a bright, highly saturated colour dominating the piece.
Choose Tortilla for a subdued, natural-looking colour direction rather than a brighter glaze effect. This glaze is supplied as a clay-free powder, so the specified brushing medium forms an important part of preparation: it supports adhesion to the ceramic body, extends shelf life, reduces settling and helps minimise crazing during firing.
- Mix thoroughly before application
