Soft White Satin Coverage for Cone 6 Pottery
Satin White C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glaze produces a soft white surface with less reflection than a gloss glaze. The supplied fired samples show an even pale result on a light clay body, while dark speckles remain visible through the surface on speckled stoneware, allowing clay character, throwing lines and gentle texture to contribute to the finished appearance.
Choose Satin White when you want a quieter white finish that softens the surface without hiding every detail beneath it. Clay body, application thickness, layering and kiln conditions can alter the coverage and visible variation, so compare labelled test tiles on the intended porcelain or stoneware body before applying a new method across a full batch.
- Compare the glaze on pale and speckled clay bodies before larger applications.
- Record application thickness and glaze order on layered test tiles.
- Retain a fired reference sample for comparisons between kiln loads.
