Matt Green Patina Cone 6 Glaze with Bronze Variation

Green Patina C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze develops a matt weathered copper-green surface under fuller application, while thinner areas shift towards dark greenish-black with bronze colour. Its aged, mineral character works particularly well on ribbed vessels, sculptural pottery, carved surfaces and relief decoration where changes in thickness can emphasise edges and recessed detail.

Choose Green Patina when you want more natural colour movement than a uniform matt green glaze, with contrasting bronze and darker tones built into the fired surface. Test the mixed glaze on the intended clay body before larger work, as application thickness, layering and firing conditions can noticeably alter the balance of copper green, black and bronze.

  • Use labelled test tiles to compare thinner and fuller applications
  • Record mixed-batch consistency and application thickness when repeatability matters
  • Add a suitable brushing medium such as Veegum T when adapting the mixed glaze for brush application

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
