Green Ash Tones Inspired by Wood-Fired Pottery
Green Ash C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze develops layered olive-green, brighter green and earthy brown tones with an ash-style character designed to resemble wood-fired pottery. Its changing colour works especially well on ribbed vessels, textured forms and rustic studio ware, where raised lines and variations in shape can reveal more of the surface movement.
Choose Green Ash over Electric Ash when you want a similar kiln-ash appearance with more pronounced green hues. It generally shows most clearly on brighter clay bodies and porcelain, but test it on the intended stoneware before important work because the glaze can move and develop a darker fired colour on some bodies.
- Compare the result across porcelain, light clay and the intended stoneware body
- Record mixed consistency and application depth when repeatability matters
- Test planned layered combinations before using them on larger studio work
