Green-to-Turquoise Cone 6 Glaze with Responsive Colour
Jewelry C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze shifts from transparent green where applied thinly to a fuller turquoise blue where the glaze builds. This green-to-blue movement is especially effective on ribbed vessels, carved surfaces and forms with changing contours, where variations in thickness can create contrasting bands and bring raised or recessed details into view.
Choose Jewelry when you want more colour response than a uniform turquoise or green glaze, with the possibility of red-to-purple variation in light reduction. Test the mixed glaze on the intended clay body before larger work, as application thickness, kiln atmosphere and firing conditions can change the balance between transparent green, turquoise blue and reduction colours.
- Use test tiles to compare thin, built-up and layered applications before larger work
- Record the clay body, kiln atmosphere and placement when evaluating colour changes
- Prepare working quantities as required for test batches or regular studio use
