  Description

Warm Semi-Matt Glaze with Cream and Amber Variation

Golden Tan C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze fires to a semi-matt golden yellow-tan surface, becoming lighter and creamier where the application builds. Subtle speckling and warmer amber variation give thrown vessels, textured pottery and simple sculptural forms an earthy finish that can highlight contours without overpowering the shape.

Choose Golden Tan when you want more warmth and tonal movement than a flat beige or tan glaze, while retaining a softer surface than a conventional gloss finish. Test thickness and kiln atmosphere before important work, as fuller areas can develop a lighter creamy tone and slight orange-peel texture, while reduction can shift the colour towards burnt yellow-tan.

  • Compare thin and fuller test applications to map colour and texture changes
  • Keep labelled test tiles for each clay body and kiln atmosphere
  • Add a suitable brushing medium such as Veegum T when adapting the mixed glaze for brush application

Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
