  Description

Deep Blackberry-Purple Glaze for Textured Ceramic Forms

Blackberry C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze creates a deep blackberry-purple surface with a glossy sheen and lighter violet lines where the glaze breaks over raised ridges. Its dark, wine-toned colour works particularly well on textured vessels, carved surfaces and sculptural forms, where changing light can emphasise contours without the intensity of a brighter purple glaze.

Choose Blackberry when a conventional black feels too severe but a bright violet would dominate the piece. The darker plum character keeps the surface restrained while adding more colour depth than black. Test the mixed glaze on the intended clay body and at the planned application thickness before important work, as the fired response can change with clay, layering and firing conditions.

  • Use test tiles to compare application thickness and layered combinations before production work
  • Record water additions and application settings to help repeat successful studio batches

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
