Clean White Gloss for Liner and Decorative Glaze Work
White Gloss C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze fires to a clean white gloss that works well as a liner and as a neutral base for tested overglaze decoration. Its bright, understated surface suits vessel interiors, simple thrown forms and ceramic pieces where the glaze should support painted or decorative detail rather than compete with it.
Choose White Gloss when you want a visible white surface rather than the transparency of a clear glaze, or when a glossy base is needed for tested overglaze work. On darker clay bodies, a thinner application can allow the underlying clay to influence the result and appear slightly grey, so test coverage before preparing larger batches.
- Compare coverage on light and dark clay bodies using labelled test tiles
- Test overglaze combinations and application depth before important work
- Record mixed-batch consistency when repeatability matters across studio projects
