Soft Greenish-Blue Celadon Glaze for Electric Kilns
Electric Celadon Green C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze fires to a subtle greenish-blue gloss that appears clearest on light clay bodies and porcelain. Its calm, softly coloured surface suits rounded vessels, gently ribbed pottery and clean contemporary forms where the glaze can complement the shape without becoming visually heavy.
Choose this glaze when you want a quieter green-blue result than a saturated turquoise or opaque green glaze while retaining a glossy fired surface. Test it on the intended clay body before larger work, because the underlying ceramic colour, application thickness, layering and firing conditions can affect how clearly the delicate celadon tint appears.
- Use labelled test tiles on each clay body to compare the subtle fired tint
- Record mixed-batch consistency and application thickness for repeat studio work
- Test layered combinations before applying them to important pieces
