Deep Blackberry-Purple Glaze for Textured Ceramic Forms
Blackberry C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze is shown on the supplied fired sample as a deep blackberry-purple with a glossy surface and lighter violet lines where the glaze thins across raised ridges. This dark, wine-toned colour suits textured vessels, carved decoration and sculptural forms where subtle breaks can emphasise contours without the visual weight of a flat black surface.
Choose Blackberry when you want a dark coloured glaze with more purple character than a neutral black and less brightness than a vivid violet finish. Mix the quantity required for the studio and test it on the intended porcelain or stoneware body before important work, as application thickness, layering, clay body and firing conditions can alter the final response.
- Use test tiles to compare the glaze across smooth, carved and raised surfaces before production work
- Record water additions and application settings to help repeat successful studio batches
