  Description

Dark Satin Cone 6 Glaze with Black-to-Green Movement

Black Orbit C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze produces a dark opaque satin surface that shifts from deep black to chrome green, with restrained golden-bronze hints and crystallised detail where the glaze gathers more heavily. Its earthy, layered appearance suits ridged vessels, carved surfaces and sculptural pottery where changes across raised and recessed areas can strengthen the form.

Choose Black Orbit when you want more tonal variation and surface movement than a uniform black satin glaze while keeping the overall palette dark. Test the mixed glaze on the intended clay body before larger work, as application thickness and pooling can noticeably alter the balance of black, green, bronze and crystal development.

  • Prepare working quantities as required for testing or regular studio use
  • Compare even and pooled applications on test tiles before glazing important pieces
  • Add a suitable brushing medium such as Veegum T when adapting the mixed glaze for brush application

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
