  Description

Earthy Brown Ash Character Inspired by Wood Firing

Brown Ash C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze develops an earthy brown surface with mottled lighter and darker variation, creating the character of pottery influenced by a wood-fired ash glaze. Its warm, natural appearance works especially well on ribbed vessels, textured planters and rustic ceramic forms where changes across the surface can emphasise throwing lines and carved detail.

Choose Brown Ash instead of a flat, uniformly coloured brown glaze when you want greater tonal movement and a more weathered surface. Test it on the intended clay body before larger work, particularly when using stoneware, because the glaze can move and produce a darker result on some bodies while brighter clays and porcelain show its brown variation more clearly.

  • Prepare labelled test tiles when comparing different porcelain and stoneware bodies
  • Test planned layered combinations separately before applying them to larger work
  • Allow for possible glaze movement when assessing unfamiliar stoneware bodies

We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
