Opaque Glossy Blue Glaze with Layered Tonal Variation
Astral Blue C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze fires to an opaque glossy surface with a range of light-to-medium blue tones. Its clear blue character works particularly well on thrown vessels, ridged pottery and contemporary forms where changes in contour can reveal the tonal variation while maintaining strong, unified coverage.
Choose Astral Blue when you want more visual movement than a flat, single-tone blue glaze while retaining an opaque gloss finish. It can also be explored in layered glaze combinations, but test the intended clay body, application thickness and glaze pairing before important work because these variables can influence the final colour response.
