Opaque Glossy Blue Glaze with Tonal Depth

Astral Blue C6 Pro Series Dry Glaze fires to an opaque glossy surface with light-to-medium blue variation, including deeper blue bands and brighter areas across the form. Its rich colour suits thrown vessels, ribbed pottery and contemporary ceramic pieces where changing contours can reveal the tonal range while keeping the overall finish cohesive.

Choose Astral Blue when you want more tonal movement than a flat, single-colour blue glaze while retaining opaque glossy coverage. It can also be explored in layered combinations, but test the intended clay body, glaze pairing and application thickness before important work because these variables can influence the final blue response.

  • Compare the glaze alone and in selected layered combinations on labelled test tiles
  • Record batch consistency and application depth when repeatability matters
  • Add a suitable brushing medium such as Veegum T when preparing the mixed glaze for brush application

Subject to exceptions, we are happy to accept returns of incorrectly ordered or mispicked items within 28 days of delivery. Your 28 day period begins on the date shown at the top of your invoice. When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
