Brush-On Raku Glaze for a Copper Blue Effect
Copper Blue Raku Brush-On Glaze is a liquid Milton Bridge glaze for creating a variable Copper Blue effect through Raku firing. Its colour and surface appearance can differ considerably between firings, making the individual response of the process part of the finished ceramic result.
Choose the 500ml brush-on format when you want direct application rather than preparing a dry-powder mixture. Stir thoroughly, apply three coats and allow each layer to dry before adding the next, then test the complete firing and reduction process before using the glaze on important work.
- Keep the applied thickness consistent across comparison pieces
- Record the firing and reduction conditions used for each test
- Treat reference results as guidance rather than an exact colour guarantee
