Bulk Clear Crackle Glaze for Raku Firing
Clear Raku Glaze combines a clear crackle surface with the variable metallic appearance produced through Raku firing. The changing crackle and surface response make it suitable for ceramic work where an individual firing result is preferred to a completely uniform glaze finish.
Choose the 25kg dry-powder format when a larger quantity is needed for repeated mixing or substantial glaze use. Measure each batch consistently, introduce any additional water gradually and test the prepared glaze before wider application because mixing, firing and reduction conditions can affect the result.
- Measure each batch consistently before making adjustments
- Keep written mixing and application records for comparison tests
- Use test pieces before applying a newly prepared batch more widely
