Bulk Blue Crackle Glaze for Raku Firing
Blue Crackle Raku Glaze combines a blue crackle surface with the variable metallic appearance produced through Raku firing. Natural changes in colour and surface response mean each firing can produce an individual result rather than a completely uniform glaze finish.
Choose the 25kg dry-powder format when a larger quantity is required for repeated glaze mixing or substantial use. Measure each batch consistently, add any further water in controlled stages and test the prepared glaze before wider application because mixing, firing and reduction conditions can affect the outcome.
- Measure each batch consistently before making adjustments
- Keep mixing and application records for comparison tests
- Use test pieces before applying a newly prepared batch more widely
