Opaque Snow-Like Texture for Fired Bisque Decoration
Snow Storm Gare Opaque Textured Glaze is designed to create a raised, snow-like fired surface on ceramic bisque. It is a useful choice for decorative pieces where a white textured effect is more important than a smooth functional surface.
Apply this textured glaze to shelf Cone 04 bisque in generous coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next, then fire to shelf Cone 06. Because the fired surface is textured, it is not recommended for dinnerware.
- Sponge ware before glazing to remove dust from the bisque surface
- Shake the jar well before use for a more consistent application
- Use on decorative ceramic work where a textured snow effect is wanted
