Smooth Matte Grey Glaze for Bisque Ceramics
Elephant Ears Duncan True Matte Glaze is a smooth grey matte glaze for ceramics, bisque and pottery painting. Part of the Duncan True Matte Glazes range, it is designed for a refined, modern matt finish on fired ceramic work.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque, building up 3–4 smooth, even coats and allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. For best coverage, some coats can be sponged on before continuing with smooth brush application. Fire to shelf Cone 06.
- Suitable for monochrome designs, colour pairings and Majolica-style decoration
- Clean brushes and tools with water after use
- Test pieces are useful when trying the colour for the first time, as fired results can vary with application thickness, bisque surface and firing conditions
