Intense Cobalt Blue with a Bright Glossy Finish
Create deep, dramatic colour on stoneware with BOTZ Ultra Marine Stoneware Glaze. This bright glossy glaze fires to an intense cobalt-blue shade, producing a rich, saturated surface while allowing the underlying ceramic surface to show through where the glaze is applied in a very thin coat.
Apply 2–3 coats and fire between 1220°C and 1280°C with a 30-minute soak. BOTZ states in the application notes that the glaze will not run off; however, the product properties also indicate that it tends to run, so appropriate care should be taken when applying and positioning glazed pieces during firing.
