Colourless Transparency with a Clear Glossy Finish
Add a clear fired finish to stoneware with BOTZ Transparent Stoneware Glaze. This colourless transparent glaze produces a glossy surface while allowing the clay body, decoration or colour beneath to remain visible, making it useful for finishing both decorative and functional ceramic pieces.
Apply 1–2 coats and fire between 1220°C and 1280°C with a 30-minute soak. The glaze does not run off and develops a more satin-glossy appearance when fired at 1220°C. When applying over BOTZ Unidekor or onto KERAFOL, BOTZ recommends applying one coat only.
