Gleaming Water Green with a Glossy Crackled Finish
Bring cool, watery colour and distinctive surface detail to stoneware with BOTZ Mountain Lake Stoneware Glaze. This semi-transparent glossy glaze develops a gleaming green-to-turquoise colour with fine crystalline cracks, creating an expressive glass-like finish across fired ceramic surfaces.
Apply 2–3 coats and fire at 1250°C with a 30-minute soak for BOTZ’s recommended result. At 1220°C the glaze produces a strong turquoise colour with a surface that may not be entirely smooth; at 1250°C it develops a smoother surface, deep cracks and a celadon-like shade. At 1280°C it becomes greener and more glassy and may begin to run.
