Blue-Grey to Blue-Green with Glossy Flowing Effects
Create layered blue, grey and green tones with BOTZ Blue Grey Speckle Stoneware Glaze. This glossy stoneware effect glaze develops a blue-grey to blue-green surface with lighter tonal variation, while locally thicker application can produce attractive running effects.
Apply 2–3 coats, with BOTZ recommending 2 coats for this glaze. Fire between 1220°C and 1280°C with a 30-minute soak. At 1220°C it produces a soft blue-grey to blue-green colour with light effects; at 1250°C the blue-grey to blue-green tones develop with running effects; and at 1280°C the glaze becomes more yellow-green with blue effects, while very thin areas can reveal a brown base. This product uses the updated BOTZ formulation introduced in June 2024.
