Summer Blue BOTZ Earthenware Glaze develops a fresh medium-blue colour with a glossy finish. The attached examples show the blue across smooth bowls, curved forms and recessed decorative details, giving makers a clear colour option for both simple surfaces and more defined designs.
Its straightforward blue appearance can also be combined with speckled glazes when more surface variation is wanted. Summer Blue is recommended for tableware and is Raku suitable, with a consistent firing range of 1020°C to 1060°C.
