  Description

Semi-Transparent Blue Earthenware Glaze with Black Spot Effects

Starry Sky BOTZ Earthenware Glaze gives a glossy, semi-transparent blue surface with black spots, especially on white clay. On curved vessel walls, the dark markings can stretch into stripes, adding directional movement across the surface and giving bowls and rounded forms a more varied appearance than a flat, even blue.

Choose Starry Sky when you want a blue glaze with distinctive dark variation built into the fired surface. A thick coat brings out its characteristic appearance particularly well, but the glaze tends to run strongly, so that movement should be considered when applying it to upright or vertical areas.
