Dark Blue-Green Gloss for Bowls and Rounded Forms
Petrol BOTZ Earthenware Glaze produces a semi-transparent dark blue-green with a glossy finish. On bowls and rounded vessels, the deep colour and reflective surface emphasise curved rims and broad contours, while the semi-transparent character allows some influence from the clay beneath. This makes it a useful choice when you want a strong blue-green surface without completely masking the underlying clay.
Clay colour becomes an important part of the finished appearance with Petrol. It fires darker over black and red clay, allowing the same glaze to take on greater depth when used over darker bodies.
