Dark Blue-Green Gloss for Bowls and Rounded Forms

Petrol BOTZ Earthenware Glaze produces a semi-transparent dark blue-green with a glossy finish. On bowls and rounded vessels, the deep colour and reflective surface emphasise curved rims and broad contours, while the semi-transparent character allows some influence from the clay beneath. This makes it a useful choice when you want a strong blue-green surface without completely masking the underlying clay.

Clay colour becomes an important part of the finished appearance with Petrol. It fires darker over black and red clay, allowing the same glaze to take on greater depth when used over darker bodies. This gives makers a clear reason to choose it when the interaction between glaze colour and the clay underneath is intended to contribute to the finished piece.

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
