Glossy Blackberry-Red for Form and Relief Detail
Mulberry BOTZ Earthenware Glaze gives an opaque blackberry-red colour with a glossy finish. The deep berry tone gives bowls, dishes and rounded forms a strong block of colour, while the reflective surface can bring attention to contours and raised or recessed decoration. This works especially well where simple shape or relief detail forms the main decoration.
Mulberry also gives very good results on coloured clay, giving makers more freedom to use the same blackberry-red glaze across different clay-body colours. Its very good melting behaviour is paired with a tendency not to run off, which is useful when colour placement matters around edges, grooves or raised pattern.
