Deep Dark Green with Contrasting Surface Markings
Ivy BOTZ Earthenware Glaze develops a deep dark green, glossy surface broken up by black and white efflorescences. The irregular markings give the colour more movement than a flat, uniform green, making it a useful choice for simple bowls, rounded vessels and broad surfaces where the glaze pattern can remain clearly visible.
Choose Ivy when you want a dark green glaze with visible black and white variation rather than an even single-colour finish. It can also be used on coloured clay, giving makers more freedom when selecting the clay body beneath the glaze while allowing the contrasting surface character to remain an important part of the finished piece.
