Glossy Blue Colour with a Semi-Transparent Finish
Bright Blue BOTZ Earthenware Glaze allows the colour of the clay beneath to influence the fired appearance. On red and black clay, the blue develops a darker result, while the glossy surface gives the colour a reflective finish.
This glaze is suitable for Raku and can be fired at temperatures up to 1100°C. It tends to run and also has a tendency to crack, so these surface and flow characteristics should be kept in mind when using it.
