Deep Opaque Black Earthenware Glaze with a Glossy Finish

Black BOTZ Earthenware Glaze produces a deep, opaque black with a glossy surface. The dark reflective colour works especially well on simple vessels, faceted forms and pieces with relief decoration, where highlights across edges and raised details can emphasise the shape while the black remains the dominant visual feature.

Choose this glaze when you want a solid dark finish rather than a deliberately varied or multi-coloured surface. A deliberately thick application is recommended to build the intended opaque black coverage, making it a strong visual choice for ceramic forms where contours, silhouettes or surface decoration provide the main character.
