Light Blue Translucent Ceramic Underglaze – E-Z Stroke® 29ml
Light Blue is a soft, airy translucent blue, perfect for gentle washes of colour and calm,
watercolour-style effects. Its pale, soothing tone makes it ideal for light decorative work
where subtlety and clarity are key.
Particularly suited to skies, clouds, coastal themes, baby gifts, and spring designs,
Light Blue layers beautifully over other underglazes, allowing the base surface to glow through.
Use sparingly for delicate detail or build thin layers to add depth without heaviness.
Application & Firing
- Apply one coat for translucent designs to greenware, unfired glaze, soft-fired bisque, or cone 04 bisque. Allow to dry.
- Fire to shelf cone 04.
- For bisque ware, apply to cone 04 bisque, allow to dry, and apply clear glaze if desired.
- Fire to shelf cone 06–05 (999°C–1046°C / 1830°F–1915°F).
- Apply additional thin coats to build depth and shading as required.
- Easy water clean-up.
When finished with a food-safe clear glaze, this underglaze is suitable for
functional dinnerware as well as decorative ceramic pieces.
