Dutch Blue Translucent Ceramic Underglaze – E-Z Stroke® 29ml
Dutch Blue is a classic, mid-toned translucent blue with a timeless feel, perfect for both
traditional and contemporary ceramic designs. Its balanced pigment allows for strong definition
while still supporting smooth, translucent layering.
Ideal for floral patterns, borders, lettering, and decorative detailing,
Dutch Blue is especially popular for heritage-style pieces and clean, graphic designs.
It pairs beautifully with whites and neutral tones.
Application & Firing
- Apply one coat for translucent designs to greenware, unfired glaze, soft-fired bisque, or cone 04 bisque. Allow to dry.
- Fire to shelf cone 04.
- For bisque ware, apply to cone 04 bisque, allow to dry, and apply clear glaze if desired.
- Fire to shelf cone 06–05 (999°C–1046°C / 1830°F–1915°F).
- Apply additional thin coats to build depth and shading as required.
- Easy water clean-up.
When finished with a food-safe clear glaze, this underglaze is suitable for
functional dinnerware as well as decorative ceramic pieces.
