Chartreuse Translucent Ceramic Underglaze – E-Z Stroke® 29ml
Chartreuse is a bright, lively yellow-green translucent shade that adds instant energy and freshness to
ceramic designs. Its luminous quality makes it ideal for light, playful watercolour-style effects and
layered decorative work.
Perfect for spring and summer projects, Chartreuse works beautifully for foliage,
citrus themes, abstract designs, and cheerful accent details. It layers cleanly over other underglazes,
allowing softer tones beneath to glow through.
Application & Firing
- Apply one coat for translucent designs to greenware, unfired glaze, soft-fired bisque, or cone 04 bisque. Allow to dry.
- Fire to shelf cone 04.
- For bisque ware, apply to cone 04 bisque, allow to dry, and apply clear glaze if desired.
- Fire to shelf cone 06–05 (999°C–1046°C / 1830°F–1915°F).
- Apply additional thin coats to build depth and shading as required.
- Easy water clean-up.
When finished with a food-safe clear glaze, this underglaze is suitable for
functional dinnerware as well as decorative ceramic pieces.
