75mm Vertical De-Airing Pugmill for Clay Recycling and Studio Preparation
The CH7140 75mm De-Airing Pugmill is a professional vacuum clay pug mill designed for ceramic studios, schools, colleges and workshops that need efficient clay preparation with a larger 75mm extrusion outlet. Based on Gladstone’s G77 vertical de-airing pugmill, this machine is designed to produce well de-aired clay that can be used straight from the pugmill.
Its vertical design gives a more ergonomic loading position while using less floor space than many bench-mounted pugmills, making it a strong choice for busy clay rooms and education environments. The high-volume oil-immersed vacuum pump, 150mm cast aluminium barrel and durable powder coated finish make it suitable for regular studio clay recycling, preparation and extrusion work.
Before Ordering

- Confirm your electrical supply with a qualified person before purchase.
- Plan enough working space around the loading area, outlet and collection point.
- Consider whether optional dies or extrusion accessories are needed for your intended work.

Why Choose a Vertical De-Airing Pugmill?
A vertical de-airing pugmill is useful where clay needs to be processed regularly but floor space and working comfort still matter. The vertical feed position makes loading clay easier, while the vacuum system removes trapped air from the clay body before it is extruded through the 75mm outlet.
The CH7140 is especially suitable for education clay rooms and professional studios that recycle clay frequently. With optional dies, it can also be used for more specialist extrusion work, including thin wall hollow extrusion where a well de-aired body is important.
