  Description

Bright Green Earthenware Engobe for Fresh Sgraffito Detail

Bright Green BOTZ Earthenware Engobe creates a fresh light-green surface with an earthy matt character when left without overglazing. The colour gives decorative motifs a lively background without overpowering finer detail; pale linework produces a softer contrast, while darker outlines stand out more strongly against the green surface.

Sgraffito can be used to cut lines and patterns through the coloured engobe, making the surface itself part of the decoration. Slightly diluted engobe is also suited to marbling on soaked biscuit-fired or leather-hard clay for more fluid pattern, while a thin transparent overglaze increases the colour intensity when a brighter result is preferred.

Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
