The Skutt KMT714 is a seven-sided, 16 amp top loading electric kiln fitted with a WiFi touchscreen controller, ideal as a starter kiln for home studios, schools and small production setups. Compact but powerful, it offers accurate temperature control and reliable firing performance for earthenware, stoneware and porcelain.

Power for this model is similar to that of a 16 amp cooker point. We recommend at least 18" clearance around the kiln.

Electrical note: Most of our top loading kiln models need to be wired directly into the electricity supply.
The only exceptions are the 13 amp versions of the KM714 & KMT714 and our Skutt FireBox 8x4 and FireBox 8x6 tabletop kilns, which are supplied as plug-in models.
