Transparent Gloss Powdered Glaze for Clear Stoneware Surfaces
Transparent Gloss provides a clear glossy stoneware surface without replacing the visual character beneath it with an opaque fired colour. Its transparent finish allows ceramic form, relief and underlying surface detail to remain part of the finished appearance while adding a reflective glazed surface.
The 25kg pack is the larger powdered format for customers requiring substantially more glaze than the 1kg option. It is supplied as dry glaze powder and is mixed with water and medium before use, rather than being supplied as a ready-mixed liquid glaze.
- No clay is included in the glaze recipe
- Brushing medium helps the prepared glaze adhere to the ceramic body
- The medium helps reduce settling, extend shelf life and minimise crazing during firing
