  Description

Petal-Pink Transparent Gloss for Cone 6 Pottery

Cotton Candy C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glaze creates a delicate petal-pink transparent gloss when applied thinly, developing a deeper pink colour where the glaze is thicker. Its translucent character allows throwing lines and gentle surface changes to remain visible, making it well suited to softly shaped vessels and pieces where a light pink tint is preferred to opaque coverage.

Choose Cotton Candy when you want a softly coloured transparent surface rather than a solid pink glaze. The visible result changes across porcelain, light stoneware, buff stoneware and darker clay bodies, while application thickness, layering and kiln conditions can introduce further variation. Compare labelled tests on the intended clay body before glazing a full batch.

  • Compare the glaze directly on the intended clay body or slip before larger applications.
  • When brushing, consider adding a small amount of brushing medium before application.
  • Add Powder Gum Arabic as required for a thicker applied finish.

Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
