GR Pottery Forms Studio Board for Clay Work Surfaces
The GR Pottery Forms Studio Board is a lightweight wooden work board designed for use as a practical surface when hand building, slab building and working with clay forms.
This 12 x 10 inch studio board is especially useful for supporting clay pieces while working and for helping to flip slab-built pottery safely during the making process.
Studio Boards are intended for use as a work surface and handling aid, not as drying boards or wedging boards.
Their lightweight wood construction helps clay release cleanly, but the board should not be left wet for long periods, as excess moisture may cause it to soften or warp.

If the board starts to warp, place the warped side down on your work surface and place a slab of clay on the flatter side; the board should absorb some moisture and begin to even itself out.
