High quality china clays, silicas, bentonites and mineral fluxes give this range of clays a good degree of plasticity, whiteness and translucency. Porcelain clay is a clay body that attracts many a potter because of its bright white colour and translucency. It is a very smooth clay which is typically a white or grey colour & so is ideal for making delicate objects such as fine bone china or figurines. It is also very soft in texture and more malleable than other kinds of clay.
