The Skutt KMT1627 is a sixteen-sided oval top loading electric ceramic kiln with a WiFi touchscreen controller. An engineered ceramic fibre lid and fibre lid insert are just two of the features that make this one of the most sophisticated oval production kilns on the market. With a vast 525 litre (18.5 cu ft) firing capacity, it is the largest top loading kiln we offer—ideal for custom tile work, large sculptures and high-volume studio production.

Please note, most of our top loading kiln models need to be wired directly into the electricity supply. The only exceptions are the KM714, KMT714 and our Skutt FireBox 8x4 and FireBox 8x6 tabletop kilns, which are supplied as plug-in models. We also recommend a clearance of at least 18" around the kiln. Please refer to the product images for overall dimensions.
